Greetings all, and
welcome to my page. My name is Michael Hickman. I live on
the border of East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia with
my wife Kimberly and daughters Kenzlei and Mekia. I work
for the City of Kingsport, Tennessee in the Engineering
Department as a Civil Engineering Designer(it doesn't
always roll downhill). I've been a member of the
Tennessee Army National Guard for 13 years as vehicle
dispatcher and license qualifier. My hobbies are
painting, riding my Goldwing, Jeeps, hunting, fishing and
camping. Currently I'm researching my family history and
have traced one branch(Christian's)back to the Twelfth
Century on the Isle of Man. Email me if you're interested

I'm also a member of
the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a non-profit
organization dedicated in recreating life in the Middle
Ages as they Should have been. As a member you pick a
personna, or a person who might have lived in that time
period, and try to recreate how they might have lived. To
find out more about my personna, click here. One of the
main activities in the SCA is combat. You get to build
your own armour and weapons and fight in tournaments.
Other activities, aside from combat related, are medieval
arts and sciences. Some of the skills I've developed in
the SCA include woodcarving, caligraphy, painting,
heraldry, and leatherwork. If you would like to barter
